Difficulty Level of CLAT 2022 PG Exam: An Analysis
The exam in total consisted of 33 pages. Overall, it can be said that the difficulty level of CLAT PG was difficult.
There were 20 legal passages, each containing 6 questions related to the passage. The question paper was based on topics that have been of recent concern for the legal community.
The difficulty level of the paper was difficult. An analysis of the paper highlights the significance of recent judicial decisions in the examination. It was quite surprising to see questions from Company Law, Evidence Act, Tax Laws and Juvenile Justice this time as these topics are generally not tested in the CLAT PG Exam.
The paper was conceptual, testing the legal acumen of the students. Some instances of problem-based questions were also found in the paper.
The majority questions asked were from Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, Contracts and International Law. The paper majorly focused on the recent developments with few questions from the static landmark cases. Most of the questions from contract were situation based and easy to attempt. Criminal law questions were based on recent issues like arrest, dowry death etc.
Also, a complete passage from amalgamation of companies is a kind which we generally didn’t expect.
Subject Wise Analysis of CLAT PG Exam 2022
Please note that the bifurcation of these questions has been done in ‘pure’ form. Some passages were in a combination of two subjects like Constitutional Law and Criminal Law/Environment Law etc.
